Can i post my songs that i have on youtube here? BTW, 2 of them have cuss words in them, so i want to also make sure if it is ok to post them here as well??? I read in the rules that we are to have only one thread each, so that is why i named this thread accordingly.
Hi, James (BADFASTBUSA),
I do look forward to listening to your songs and I am glad you are open to getting feedback about them (I recall reading in the Banter Section that you write country music, a genre about which I know little), but first I want to let you know that the site Moderators may ask you to delete the YouTube links from your posts. Reason: MusicBanter doesn't want posts to be self-promotion. It does appear that once people have been part of the community for a long time, this rule is relaxed! (EDIT: I'm rereading the rules and it looks like one simply needs to have 15 posts before adding links to one's posts, in which case it should be okay :-).

If you aren't allowed to post links, then I recommend you add your youtube site in your profile so that people can simply click on it there and get to the songs. Then, in your post, you can simply direct people to your contact information. I've seen the moderators having to go around deleting links that people place in their posts, which keeps them busy, so thought I could help you and them avoid this situation.

Say, would you like perhaps to post your lyrics here in your thread? I always feel it is fun to read someone's lyrics and then go listen to how they sound in the actual song!
