The public libraries where I come from get music albums and are available for check out. They have a website and a request page where you can search for albums. They get new releases in all genres of music. You local libraries might not have it though.
They let us check out up to a 100 albums at once. They will hold the albums for you at the library and you can go pick them up whenever, go back home and upload them to itunes and bring them right back.
