If the Melvins are considered grunge, I'd take them over anything listed by a long shot.
And you know "Halloween" is a cover, right? Anyway, Melvins and Mudhoney would be my 1 and 2 for that scene/era.

Me, too, tbh. Even if the people voting skew young, you'd think someone would have heard this (or just voted for it to be contrary).
Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge is still my favorite by them and still awesome all these years later.
I'm also puzzled how the Afghan Whigs belong on this list. Was it the Sub Pob connection? If so, why isn't
Earth 2 listed? It's possibly the heaviest thing ever released on that label.
