She's bossy not whiny, she's one of the most mature main characters on the show, though she does have a hot temper, a cruel sense of humor, and kindergarden level drawing skills. She's usually the one who keeps Ichigo and Renji's massive egos in check, she can't stand whiners.

Not to mention she's a tough fighter and not just a dumb bimbo, like most anime chicks.

Also, her looks have held up pretty well to be 150 years old.
