I don't mind Van Der Graaf Generator, Gong and Magma

I guess it depends a lot on context. if I find the record boring then I notice it more & it begins to annoy me. That's pretty much what happened when I heard 2112. I didn't find the music engaging and because of that because the whole album is one concept it got in the way of things & made it more annoying.

That's pretty much what i'm trying to get at.
