It seems that if you're not in Mexico you're pretty safe even if you contract it right now. Just follow standard protocol: wash your hands, use a tissue, stuff you should be doing already. Also, they cut the number of confirmed swine flu deaths in Mexico from 20 to 7, hardly seems like a huge threat when the regular flu kills something like 36,000 people a year.
