I know, but that has nothing to with what I said. Seeings as we have medium compatibility means we like someof the same bands. I have no idea which ones those would be though.

This is a nonsensical post. You want to broaden your horizons, but only want to listen to bands in the same genre as the ones you already liste nto, doesn't sound very broad to me.
