I will agree that, at least out of what I've heard, the best releases on DefJux or Stones Throw are better than the best releases on Anticon. The cool thing about Anticon to me though is that the bands have this certain aesthetic that's shared between them but pretty much unique to the label. I love when that whole communal aesthetic thing happens on a label. Totally different style of music but it makes me think of the heyday of Wax Trax, one of my personal favorite labels of all time.
