But on the contrary. I'm gonna run with the notion that scientists didn't back this guy on BBC up, right? I'm not saying we're in for Armegeddon here. I'm saying, the world's **** now, it's gonna get worse. The economy will continue to plummet, people will starve and lose whatever sanity they have left, politics and democracy will eventually fail to have the illusion of "working", more devastating weather conditions will happen all around the world. It's all ready proven that eventually we will lose Florida, Manhatten, most likely New Orleans, or at least part of it. Anything on the border of an ocean, in my line of thinking, will eventually be lost. The planet Earth will eventually become a floating (or none floating, if the drastic portion of the 2012 theory persists to happen) ball of water. Water levels are rising, tides are changing because of the moon, the orbits are ****ed up, the Earth is continuing to "wobble" off it's axis. That can only happen so much until something ****s up, right? Polar ice caps are melting, and on the contrary, parts of the world are experiencing extreme drought. There has already been devasting hurricanes, tsunamis, just in the past 20-30 years. As the weather conditions get worse in the world, man-powered pollution contributing to global warming and what have you, imagine what the next atrosity's effect will have on the already depleting world.
