If you like Guy's music thats fine by me and you are right it would indeed be a sad world if we all liked the same thing. I am not able to comment as to his music. You tell me what he is like, I don't know.
I can only repeat what I have read and that is not from via TV shows like Today Tonight. I am not prone to watch commercial TV and certainly not light entertainment like Today Tonight and nor Australian Idol for that matter.
I have read a summation of the block voting among Christian churches in several publications and blogs and these discussions can be googled if you so wish.
The fact that generic pop singers apparently win these contests and the fact that some are constantly linked with various Evangelical Christian groups with links to Hillsong make me suspicious of the motives.
P.S Guy is from Paradise Church in Adelaide. Same thing as Hillsong in my extremely cynical mind.
