Oasis are miles better, hell there my favorite band of all time. Liam Gallaghers voice is so magic and Noel Gallagher regardless if he steals bits and pieces from past artist is still one of the best songwriters of our time. MG and DM is the best debut and sophomore album combo of all time. I enjoy just about every record they've put out besides the dull Heathen Chemistry (which if you really look into Oasis it's the only album they tried to relive past glories). Be Here Now is bloated but it fits the band perfectly at the time, with their new found success and their Cocaine abuse. Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants is great it has a couple of dull tracks but its production is top notch and its like the hang over record from Be Here Now. Don't Believe The Truth is another great retro 60s album its only got a few real stand outs, The Importance of being Idle being one of them, but as a collection of songs its solid all the way through. DOYS is probably the best record since MG because Noel has refound the magic of writing in the studio and everything sounds like magic. It tails of near the end due to Andy Bell and Liam's "ok" songwriting but Noel's songs on DOYS are creative, fresh, and as strong as they were in the mid 90s.
Blur are a great pop band and Damon and Alex are some of the best musicial minds of their time its just I've always preferred Oasis.
