Enter the 36 Chambers was awesome when I first heard it about 9 years ago. But Gangstarr made some ****in' bangin' albums. DJ Premier is a genius and the Guru has great flow. KRS-One's Return of Da Boom Bap was hardcore as anything else. Then if you like the funky beats for a good undergroundish album there's "Nigga Deep" by Brotha Lynch who uses a lot of James Brown and Parliament samples. But there's just so much from the 90s.
