Impossible question... there are soooooo many bands that I love.
I like a lot of bands from the 90's, probably because I "grew up" with them in the background... Third Eye Blind, Dishwalla, Semisonic, GooGoo Dolls, Coldplay, Train, Lisa Loeb, Ben Folds 5, Incubus, Jewel, Sarah McLachlan, Alanis Morissette... and then I like a lot of rock and soft rock from more recent years... Crossfade, Submersed, Breaking Benjamin, Hinder, Faktion, Alkaline Trio, Eisley... two of my recent feel-good
bands are The Hush Sound and Aqualung.
