I had to cast my vote for John Lydon as "best frontman", based solely upon his charismatic stage presence. I saw him twice, and he works a crowd like no other. I would prefer listening to New Order, but Bernard Sumner just stood on stage, bent over like he had a stick up his arse. The antithesis of John Lydon. BUT, if you are talking favorite bands... The Bunnymen probably take that title. Of groups on the list, anyhow. When I saw Ian, back in '84, it was a bottle of beer in one hand, a smoke in the other, and the microphone perched in the middle. He was set for the night.
