In kenya yes, the most popular names are now barack and michelle, and also "baracka" for girls

he has done something, he has become the first black person to be elected president. thats quite a feat, it takes a hell of a lot of work to get to a point where you are elected president. Actually, not only in kenya but all over africa, people were celebrating in the streets, calling him "our barack;" lots of african countries are celebrating it as a victory.
