Good call on Jethro Tull & Skinny Puppy! 'Thick as a brick' is an obvious favorite of mine. It does have a coupe of weak passages here and there, but overall, the good far outweigh the bad. And not to forget, the lyrics/story, as silly as some of it might seem, works really well here.(and definitely got the message across)
Mayhem...I find that there's better black metal out there than that. But anyways, It's not my list
