These are 5 songs I've loved for a long time or have recently found and just like them in general and are from as late as the 1990's and as early as 1960's.

#1 Power of Love:
YouTube - Huey Lewis & the News - The Power of Love (6 minute ver.)
#2 Surfin' Bird.
YouTube - The Trashmen : Surfin' Bird ( 1963 )
#3 Johnny B Goode
YouTube - Chuck Berry - Johnny B. Goode
#4 Voodoo Chile
#5 Girls on Film
YouTube - Duran Duran - Girls On Film

Post your thoughts and comments, they're usually negative so I hold no hopes. Just thought I'd post this as I've meant to post my favourate classic rock / pop / 80's songs list for a while.

None of those songs are from the 90s so I'm not sure why you made that claim but, yeah, most of those are good songs. Definitely not my favorites but still pretty good. My favorite from your list is probably "Surfin' Bird". I think I actually have that on the original vinyl too.

ETA: It's funny, two of the five songs you picked are featured prominently in the movie Back to the Future. Did you just watch that or something?
