A similar (yet far stupider) thing happened to my friend this Halloween.

We were at my girl friend's apartment and one of our other friends decided to go onto the balcony and smoke a little weed. I thought that in itself was stupid, as the balcony faces about sixty to seventy other apartments and an enormous parking lot.

Well, it got even dumber when my friend decided that the bathroom wasn't good enough and went off the balcony (six stories above the parking lot). Someone shined a flashlight up at him and the party ended up getting busted. My friend was pretty distraught the rest of the night, as now she's getting a nice set of iron bars placed in the doorway and complete prohibited access to any balcony for eight more months.

And my friend almost got arrested. I wish he would have.
