Damnit. I've been trying to make a better thread, like this, for like 3 days. But I've always been running out the door, or busy. I'ma post a mix and reasons behind it. In no order, of course. (Who starts a mix off with the Eagles? Jesus.)
Witchy Woman - Eagles - Because it's about a mysterious woman. And the weird, chant-y chorus is Halloween-y. (I am an idiot.)
I Put A Spell On You - Nina Simone - One of the ultimate Halloween songs, for me. Enchanting voice the woman has. Magical.
Down With The Sickness - Richard Cheese - Who don't love creepy, jazzy covers of "metal" songs?
Werewolves of London - Warren Zevon - Not exactly scary or creepy. But it's cool and it's weird, crazy and it has werewolves in it.
Sweet Dreams Are Made of This - Annie Lennox & the Eurythmics - It's creepy. She's creepy. Moreso that Celine Dion. And that's saying ****.
Don't Fear the Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult - Immediate disqualification for it's involvement with JHalloween? NO. ****ing great song. Creeply. Death, drugs, sex, love.
Lexicon Devil - The Germs - This is self-explanitory. And it ****ing rules. The Germs are better than the Sex Pistols.
Magic Man - Heart - Awesome riffs, gives the heir of being somewhat creepy. About a mystical man. Sure.
Season of the Witch - Hole - Only reason I didn't choose Donovan's is because it seemed to calm. Even though I despise Courtney Love, I like Hole's songs somewhat. Her voice is gritty, she's scary, the song is cool.
White Rabbit - Jefferson Airplane - See BOC explanation.
If Only - Queens of the Stone Age - Creepy. Loud. Vocals. Yes.
In A Gadda Da Vida - Slayer - I get bored with the Iron Butterfly 20 min. version. And this is more hardcore.
Venus in Furs - Velvet Underground - Creepy. Like you can picture it in a dessert somewhere, scary. Entrancing.
