they've gone through their fair share of members. i'm not even sure there is a "classic" QOTSA lineup, haha. Alfredo and Gene Trautmann were both awesome though. Joey's good but has a habit of playing songs way too fast live sometimes, IMO.

as for the best drummer ever...ehm, probably Vinnie Colaiuta. i don't think there's anything that guy can't play.
Mmm, I'm not a huge drumming fanboy, but he was absolutely mindblowing when I saw him with Herbie Hancock. He plays with unbelievable feel.
