1969:
1.
Gal Costa -
Gal

The masterpiece of tropicália, in my opinion. Gal Costa was influenced by bands like Jefferson Airplane, which I think helps it hold up so well.
2.
King Crimson -
In the Court of the Crimson King

This is, in my mind, the true masterpiece of prog-rock, not some Pink Floyd record. Definitely one of the best albums of the 1960s. Beautiful.
3.
Brigitte Fontaine & Art Ensemble of Chicago -
Comme à la radio

Although it's hard to say, this might be the best project the Art Ensemble of Chicago involved themselves in. Definitely should be better known. Seems to stand the test of time remarkably well, too.
4.
Catherine Ribeiro + 2 Bis -
Catherine Ribeiro + 2 Bis

Definitely an overlooked masterpiece of the 60s. It's a shame so many people give USA's album more credit over this.
