I was hoping someone could help me out with a little schooling on mics. I'm interested in something for vocals . . . nothing that will tip the bank but will be conducive to live play.
Live play ranging from rock session to simple acoustic settings. SM57s and 58s I know are nice for this but anything in addition to this would be nice. For intance, I have a Peavy head and amp with the "1/4 inputs for preamps. If I buy a mic will I need to get an adapter to fit this input or what?
