I can name parts of songs where songwriters ruined perfectly good parts, not lyrics specifically.
There was this one song I heard in the movies, you know before they show the commercials and they just put up dumb trivia and some song in the background? Well anyway, there was this thing I'd never heard before, it was epic sounding, like something off of The Wall, that sort of epic melody type thing. It reminded me of the trial. And the lyrics were quite good I thought.
Then all of a sudden they dropped the beat and decided to go all typical emo, pop rock sort of crappy riff. It made me sad. I later found out the song was The Black Parade by MCR. I had never heard a song by them before that, I had just heard that they sucked. Half of me felt sort of ashamed for liking it, and half of me was angry they messed up a great initial melody. N
Also, the initial lyrics, concept and tone of the Coldplay's song A Rush Of Blood To The Head was really good and interesting, but then they ruined it by getting really loud, here's what I mean:

That honey and movements verse is sort of unnecessary to me. I like to repetition and concept of "And I'm going to......and x it x" but they messed it up.
