I thought it was hilarious. It seemed pretty obviously meant to be over-the-top, not serious writing (and yes, I'm familiar with both Pitchfork's reviews and DiCrescenzo's writing). I didn't read every word (even for something meant to be crazily elaborate, it was far too long) but the concept was absurd and funny.
