Some of these songs are not actually all that heavy or loud in any traditional sense but there's something about them that just gives me a ton of energy. One example of this would be the Nick Cave song "I Had a Dream, Joe" which is almost country sounding but there's something in the way Nick spits those lyrics that is just so dam intense. Another example is "Destroy Everything You Touch" by Ladytron, a dancey electronic song, but one that's so dynamic and with such a powerful beat that it makes me want to hop in my car and drive dangerously fast.
