Only since it was recognised that cheating/diving are the margins that games are won and lost at a high level.
Ferguson himself recognised this as fact and instructs his players to do likewise in big games, especially in Europe.
Generally speaking, it's a continental trait that's infected the English game over the years.
The Italians have it down to a fine art and actually practice 'simulation' and where a good dive that gets a penalty is admired.
Whatever happened to fair play?
Hope tonight's Russia v. Spain semi is as good as last nights.
