I place Michael Jackson alongside, say, Prince or Elton John. They're not great, but I really can't get too angry about them the way I do over people like Phil Collins. Maybe it's because I can listen to Jacko and not have an allergic reaction (and Elton's one of my guilty pleasures, not that I admit it to most people I know).
