"Corporate garbage" is a pretty meaningless statement. It suggests that because something is marketed to the masses by a corporation that it therefore must be garbage. That would make iPods garbage, cars garbage, vacations garbage, computer games garbage, or whatever, the list is endless...basically, any product that is generally regarded as being of worth by society at large, and which abandoning would necessarily result in becoming a hermit.
Needless to say, some corporate products
are garbage. Like McDonalds, KFC and so forth. And virtually all the music in the charts.
