I used to be ashamed that I had it, until I found out most kids develop ADD as a defense mechanism against all the advertising these days. Practically from the day I was born, I feel like I was being sold something, so to combat that I immediately block things out after hearing them for about 6 seconds. Now, I'm better able to process information. But, it's still tricky trying to compute what information is of genuine use to you, and what is trying to sell you something. Every salesperson is so slick these days, they try to act like they're your friend, then you find out they just wanted to give you a deal on some car stereo equipment or something. F'in people. I'll never get them.
