In fact I wouldn't call any of those bands generic modern rock, not even Coldplay since they're not really very rock. New Weezer probably but a give away to that not being modern rock is Weezer's OLD stuff which you know...means it can't be modern. You listen to the Counting Crows, stop trying to be a music elitist.
