Now about the intellectual property, China is not a good comparison here because of the freedom they are given by the government. Not to mention that the market isn't truly "free."

Whats freedom of the press or speech have to do with saying you can’t pirate the **** out of something for your own personal gain?
Tell me whats fair about a few guys, spending years learning to play instruments, months to make an album, and days to make a song for some TNC to come in, take what they see fit and then use it as they wish for their own gain?
You’re also staring down the barrel of a stifling of will. Why create something decent if its going to be used for something you don’t agree with. Many a scientist moved against the use of nuclear knowledge because it was being used to kill people. Its not unheard of its logical.
What imaginative utopia are we creating by the way? One in which people are credited with their own inventions?
