1. Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue - The Ramones
Simple, light-hearted punk rock. What more can you ask for?

2. Know Your Enemy - Rage Against The Machine
This song is some of the catchiest and best guitar work from Tom Morello. It's also the truth, especially at the end of the song. "Compromise, conformity, assimilation, submission, ignorance, hypocrisy, brutality, the elite, all of which are american dreams".

3. Invalid Litter Dept - At The Drive In
This song is angsty, metaphoric and emotional. An excellent and neccessary post-hardcore song.

4. I'm The One - Descendents
Great, non-commercial pop-punk.

5. Over My Head (Better Off Dead) - Sum41
I don't care what anyone says about Sum41. They're mainstream, but awesome, and this is their best song, in my opinion.

6. I Wanna Get A Mohawk (But Mom Won't Let Me Get One) - AFI
Hardcore, energetic, and snotty. THIS is punk rock.

7. From The Bottom Of My Heart - The Wallflowers
This is a beautiful acoustic song by one of my favorite bands. It is very relaxing.

8. I Can't Explain - The Who
In its simplicity, it is awesome. One of the best songs of the 60's.

9. Adam's Song - Blink 182
My favorite song. Ever. It's a song about suicide, but the last part is upbeat, and speaks from the perspective of the person had they not committed suicide.

10. And The Hero Will Drown - Story Of The Year
This song is intense, emotional, energetic, and amazing. The greatest emo/screamo/hardcore/whateverthekidscallitthesedays song there is. I've loved it since I first heard it, that long-ass time ago. It goes from screaming, to melodic singing to heavy guitar. It's a very chaotic song that makes you want to just start screaming with him.
