Well in my own estimation, it's pretty comprehensive break down of the album. Arcturus as a whole deserve props (along with Dimmu Borgir) for breaking the mold within black metal by introducing differently-styled vocals and by adding a whole host of other elements, many of which you've mentioned in your review. The line-up is also frankly ridiculous in terms of the legendary nature of many of the personnel, but at least they actually delivered.
