As far as I can tell he got the £475 fine for the lack of MOT and insurance. The drugs posession he got off for scott free because of a technicality (he wasn't charged within 24 hours or something like that?). The MOT and insurance fines are pretty standard and the lack of drugs charges is due to the police ****ing up in the initial situation.

As for Pete Doherty, he writes decent lyrics but if you think that any noise which ever came from his mouth or his guitar qualifies as good music then there is something wrong with your ears, probably in a medical sense.
