Thanks, man. You're right. I know Lifetime and Kid Dynamite as melodic hardcore bands, thought the former is a bit more emo-tinged. Dag Nasty is a clear influence to the style of melodic hardcore and I like to think Hot Water Music is post-hardcore, though Fuel for the Hate Game could totally be considered emocore, as well as Finding the Rhythms.
