I never said Jack Johnson died, but he's an example of an overhyped songwriter. And I agree all musicians tend to get hyped if they die, not just singer/songwriters.

I'm not saying he was overhyped at all because I don't know if he was (like I said in the other post), but I'll just point out that the overhyping-after-dying thing doesn't have to be immediate.
