I admit that the Juxtaposition could freak you out a bit and yes Del Toro did direct HELLBOY-but has also done other Spanish films. He balances personal projects with Hollywood type crowd pleasers.
Give PANS another viewing and watch it from a completely different perspective-it's an amazing film.
