I don't know how long your staying for, but there's plenty to see over the next couple of weeks.
And don't worry if some of the ones you want to see are sold out. Go on the night and you'll be offered tickets by touts outside the venue. So long as you don't mind paying a bit more than the face value, you'll have no shortage of tickets. Big tip, leave it as late as you can till the start of the gig and the asking prices start dropping.
I think Turner and the Harrisons are on at 'Night and Day Cafe', which is in the Northern quarter, good for cool bars.

Definitely pay a visit to the gay village on canal street http://www.visitmanchester.com/Parts...=10&PartId=150, dead friendly and layed back, best place to drink in town, along with Oxford Road near the University campus.
