Furthermore, just because a song has the WORD "Satan" in it doesn't necessitate that the song is "Satanic" or promoting satan or whatever. It could be talking about any one of thousands of possible topics that might involve some discussion or minor mention of the devil. You have to bear that in mind. Be a little more broad minded.

The vast majority of rock and metal music you're likely to come across is not truly in any way promoting devil worship. Even bands like Slayer, for heaven's sake, who seem to be speaking openly of praising Satan in some of their songs, are not really Satanists. Rather, they try to portray a certain viewpoint held by some people in the world. I mean, they even wrote a pretty popular song called Angel Of Death which speaks from the perspective of Josef Mengele, the Nazi scientist who carried out sick, deranged experiments on children at concentration camps and so forth. Does that mean that Slayer are Nazis? Of course not.

Think beyond the apparent, a bit. Bands are often just trying to express ideas through their music they don't even necessarily agree with. Most of the rest of the time, any mentions of Satan etc are in no way promotional. Ultimately, it's really down to how YOU as a person are prepared to think about the matter. If you deny yourself the enjoyment of listening to music you actually like based off of the possibility that it MIGHT, just MIGHT have something to do with promoting Satan, then that's a great pity for you, man.
Stop using such good logic when yr talking to someone so ignorant of the world around them. You're gonna make em sad
