You know, as a political junkie I really hate how the non-junkies always feel the need to go "I hate politics can we talk about anything else" and then the 12 other lemmings in ear shot all go "yeah" and talk about the most low-brow conversation possible. Its infuriating. Part of me wishes that the political mongrels would unify and force you all to know currents events or be lashed, but then the other half knows when left to your own devices you'd vote for people based on the color of their tie. I'm telling you, when I reinstate facism in the U.S. (and real facism, but this "bush is hitler" ****) I'm going to take out the ignorant cow-polk zombies once and for all. Read books or be erradicated. How's that for a literacy rate. /is drunk.

And Lincoln freed the slaves for political reasons because he realized that trying to reason with the Southerners was useless and he stopped compramising and said "well we're going to take your **** then you whiney petulant drawl-bags." lincoln was gangsta like that.

And Nixon was great as a policy man, and untouchable as a diplomat, I don't think he was as bad as he seemed at the time.

On a side note, I hope the Klaxons side in a fiery bus crash.

But calling lincoln bad is simply foolish.

Most of your post is pure magic. But the one thing I disagree with is your rant on people who aren't political junkies. I'm an extremely cynical person meaning politics depress me to no end and I don't seek out to talk about something depressing. But that doesn't mean I, or other people who aren't political junkies, want to talk about some low-brow issue. It's not fair to label all the non-political junkies by the ignorant opinions and childish phrases and attitudes of Skindredluvr. Personally i'm a big Philosophy and Psychology person, and would greatly prefer to discuss something like that, because I know that I have much more control over my theories than I will ever have over the government.

Other than that I agree with the political stance you take in your post.
