I think there's basically nowhere left for this argument to go. I just can't see attaching the word classic to something new. It goes against definition and connotation. You don't feel that way because of the immediate impact some albums have. Even though I disagree, I think both are fair points. So, maybe some more people will weigh in on this and we can reach some kind of consensus.
