Yeah, they sound exactly Rush, every detail of their sound.
I agree with At The Drive-In, but I wouldn't say they're similar to Million Dead.
They're much more akin to acts like FBTMOF, HTB, and CTTS with elements of pop rock like Saosin.
Edit: I'm talking Doppleganger.
Their more spazzy old stuff is a little closer to what you described, although not completely.
