Now... my Muse experience is thus- I had heard a few of their singles on the radio when I used to listen to the radio, that is, so I heard... Time is Running Out, Hysteria and a couple of others, right? So, when Black Holes and Revelations hit the scene, I dl'ed it and gave it a listen. I loved it. I didn't read any reviews on it, I don't listen to the radio, so I had no idea if it had any singles... but I really liked it... Starlight is my favorite track on the album, followed by Soldier's Poem, Invincible, Supermassive Black Hole... and the rest fill in depending on what kinda mood I'm in. Then, after I enjoyed the album so much... I dl'ed their entire discography and was wonderfully surprised to learn that they have always made, in my opinion, good music. There is no reason to be forced to hate an album because people who "REALLY LIKE" Muse, don't.

Oh, don't get me wrong. If I was going what by other people tell me I should think of the album, I'd love it. To clarify my position: I don't dislike Muse at all, but I don't see why they're all the rage, based off of the Black Holes & Revelations album - which isn't a bad album by any standards, but isn't particularly mind-blowing or genre-breaking either. Still optimistic that there's some hope yet, and maybe there ARE some good reasons for holding them in fanboy-esque high regard, I'm simply asking the Musers to tell me what their best record is...and which records NOT to bother with.
