Thats what happen at my forum. We had a karma system...for good posts that made ya laugh or whatever..and it ended up being a popularity contest and friends gave friends K's and it ended up not being a good idea..but on another forum..you get points for posting, made threads and when someone posts in that thread..and those points can be used to buy colored usernames, titles, etc...
