Six months ago I did not like Tool at all. Let me take that back, I liked the song "Sober" and that was about it. I was into emo and punk and Tool was way too serious for my tastes at the time. And then I started hanging out with an entirely different group of people and they all happened to be huge Tool fans. I held out as long as I could but was done in by a combination of "Ticks and Leeches" and mushrooms. Since then, I have become a huge Tool fan.

As for A Perfect Circle, I'm still not really into them that much. They're good and all, but I like Tool so much more it isn't even funny. I think part of the reason is that, unlike a lot of Tool fans, I don't worship at the alter of Maynard James Keenan, I worship at the alter of Adam Jones. I respect Maynard and everything, but I honestly think that Adam brings the band together. And henceforth, I'm not much of an APC fan.

Except for the Emotive album. That album rocks my ass off.
