The world is in a sad state, but there are much more salient problems than someone not being able to purchase cigarettes at a convenience store, in my opinion. Some might even claim that cigarettes themselves are a problem - but selfishness certainly isn't. It's only natural to be selfish, at least to an extent. Even when you do things for others, are you not sometimes doing it merely because if you don't, you'll feel guilty? That's still being selfish.

Everyone's selfish, everyone's weird, everyone's honest, but those who actually show it are assholes nowadays. That's a problem. That and people taking things far too seriously.

Some might see me as "stupid", sure, but taking the fact that you don't know me at all into consideration, you've proven nothing but your own senselessness.

And to get somewhat back on topic, intelligence is subjective. People don't depend on proving that they're more intelligent than others. 'Proving' something like that would be quite the insurmountable task. What many do depend on is arrogance: the bird-brained belief that one's own opinion is in any way superior to another's, and a fervid reluctance to accept one's own inaccuracies. I'm sure that's something any member of this forum could agree with.
Does every single solitary motherf*cking thread here have to turn into a motherf*cking philisophical debate?
