the US is certainly not the most awful country. I think most of african countries would top the list, mainly because of their disease and lack of order/strong government and food supply. america, along with members of the UN, all take some blame for the genocide, AIDS, famine breakouts in africa.
the US is certainly in better shape than Afghanistan or even Pakistan, who's people hate America but government doesnt. then you have the whole Gaza situation that will never f*cking end, because of religious turmoil
most other countries still depend on the US for exports and inports, so our economy plays a big role in the global market period.
and if you believe america is always just cause of bush and his cronies, then what about jaque chirac? putin? tony blair? these guys are certainly smarter, but their record is nothing worth showing off.
