Inspired by the British countryside of Lincolnshire and East Anglia, Flatlands' debut EP 'Vemuyden' (the guy responsible for the man-made landscape) combines music and digital photography to create the image of the grey, monotonous yet beautiful flat lands of the Fens.... the six track EP strectched over 35 minutes and is made up of doom and ambient/drone soundscapes, interspersed with beautiful melodies and even a rather haunting sample from the fen's tourist board's website!

if you are disappointed with the new Isis album or gutted about Khanate splitting, you need to check this out! if not.. check it out anyway
