And if you think that declawing it is more important than getting it spayed then I feel really sorry for the poor thing.

well i'm not getting the cat spayed or neutered or anything like that.
It is not a sure thing that i'm getting the cat declawed.
and given what you guys have said and what my one of my best friend recommends i don't think i'll get the kitten declawed. However if after the first 6 months it has dangerous tendencies where claws are involved then i'll consider it.
