Smoking at the same time would be foolish...one way or another the cigs gonna get wet.

Even if you manage to keep the cig dry it wouldn't be much fun.
Imagine the scene. Beer in one hand, pulling your brains out with the other.
This leaves only one place remaining for the cig...the mouth.
This will cause smoke to get in the eyes, which in turn means you'll be turning Japanese way before the point of no return.
